Mia is 6 months old!!

I can't even believe it as I type it, Mia is 6 months old! Time flies when you're having fun! Six months means this little girl is eating rice cereal, trying to crawl, teething, and sharing lots of giggles with her big brother!

Making Italian Easter Bread

My first attempt at my family's traditional Italian Easter Bread was a success! This is a sweet anise bread that is traditional to the Calabria region of Italy. It is quite intimidating as it is a yeast bread that must rise 3 times prior to baking. It was a lot of fun to make and will definitely be a tradition that we will continue to share with our children.

5 Months Old!

Mia is 5 months old and she is rolling in all directions, beginning to scooch around, and reaching out to be held! Such a big girl!
